  • During the 10-year period from 2011 to 2020 China's annual urban domestic waste removal increased from 158.048 million tons to 242.062 million tons.

  • By the end of September 2021, there were 653 waste incineration plants included in the monitoring platform of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, with an annual capacity of 160 million tons, and more than 200 under construction or proposed.
